Stimulus Payments

The recent Economic Stimulus package will provide many seniors tax rebates.  However, in order to get the tax rebate, it will be necessary to file a 2007 income tax return even if you do not otherwise meet the filing threshold. Persons with $3000 or more of income in 2007 (including Social Security, Railroad Retirement and Veterans benefits) may qualify.  For more information see the attached notices from the Internal Revenue Service and USAToday.
